Understand the Terms for Moving Services With Fast Track Movers

Fast Track Movers — Terms & Conditions



1) Billing Increments & Job Clock

  • All labor is billed in 30-minute increments.
  • The job clock starts when the crew arrives on-site and is ready to begin work at the pickup location.
  • Time is billed to the nearest 30-minute increment.

2) Local vs Long-Distance Time Policy

Local Moves (25 miles or less one-way):

  • The clock runs while services are being performed and continues until the job is complete and final payment is processed.

Long-Distance Moves (over 25 miles one-way):

  • Pickup location: The clock starts upon arrival and stops once loading is complete (truck fully loaded and secured).
  • Drop-off location: The clock restarts upon arrival and stops once unloading is complete and final payment is processed.

3) Payment, Processing, and Crew Release

  • Final payment is due immediately upon completion of services (or when the final balance is requested).
  • The crew cannot leave the customer’s location until payment is processed.
  • If payment is delayed for any reason, billable time continues in 30-minute increments until payment is processed.

4) Payment Methods Accepted

We accept:

  • Credit cards / debit cards
  • Checks
  • Zelle
  • Cash App

Card Processing Fees

  • Online card payments (credit or debit): 2.99% processing fee
  • Phone payments:
  • Debit card by phone: no 2.99% fee
  • Credit card by phone: 2.99% processing fee

Customers may use Zelle or Cash App to avoid card processing fees.

5) Check Payments & Returned Check Fee

  • Checks are accepted with ID verification and must be made payable as instructed by the office.
  • The crew may leave once the check is received and the job is closed out.
  • If a check is returned or not honored, the customer is responsible for:
  • The full remaining balance due, plus
  • A $35 returned check fee, plus
  • Any applicable bank/collection fees.

6) Deposits, Scheduling, and Long-Distance Card on File

  • A 30% deposit is required to reserve your date and crew.
  • For long-distance moves, a credit card must be kept on file prior to scheduling/dispatch.

7) Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancel 7+ days before the move date: 100% of deposit refunded
  • Cancel within 7 days of the move date: 50% of deposit refunded
  • Cancellations must be submitted by text or email and are effective upon confirmation by Fast Track Movers.

8) Rescheduling Policy

  • Customers may reschedule up to three (3) times with no rescheduling fee, as long as the requested date is available.
  • After the third reschedule, a $45 rescheduling fee applies per additional change.

9) Customer Not Ready on Move Day

If the customer is not ready when the crew arrives (items not packed, loose items, access not prepared, or delays caused by the customer):

  • The clock continues at the applicable hourly rate, and
  • Packing service labor may be added so the move can proceed.
  • Packing materials are not included and will be billed according to the materials budget if required.

10) Prohibited Items (We Will Not Load or Transport)

For safety and compliance, Fast Track Movers does not load or transport:

  • Propane tanks (any size)
  • Hazardous materials / hazardous waste (including chemicals, paint, solvents, fuel, pesticides, batteries, flammables)
  • Food and perishable products (including open food containers)
  • Firearms (guns) and ammunition

These items must be removed from the move area before the crew arrives. If discovered during loading, they will be set aside and will not be transported.

11) Walkthrough & Same-Day Damage Notice (No Exceptions)

  • The crew will complete a walkthrough with the customer at the end of the job.
  • Any damage concerns must be reported the same day during the walkthrough—no exceptions.
  • Claims reported after the day of service may be denied.

12) Safety, Access, and Liability Controls

  • Fast Track Movers may refuse to move items that are unsafe, exceed reasonable weight limits, or cannot be moved without risk to property or crew.
  • The customer is responsible for providing legal parking/loading access and any required elevator reservations/permits. Delays caused by access restrictions are billable.
